Notice on recruitment of full-time teachers for the Faculty of Life Science and Technology, KUST

In order to further build a high-level teaching staff, strengthen professional construction and improve the quality of personnel training, the Faculty of Life Science and Technology of Kunming University of Science and Technology is now openly recruiting 1-2 full-time teachers in botany (plant nutrition or molecular genetics), 3-4 full-time teachers in microbiology (virus immunity, genetic engineering or fermentation engineering), and 1 full-time teacher in pharmacy and pharmaceutical chemistry (natural pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy or pharmacy). I. Duties

1. Full-time teachers in botany: Undertake research work related to botany, with the main focuses of interest being plant nutrition or plant molecular inheritance; Undertake theoretical and experimental teaching for undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in biology, such as Biochemistry, Biochemistry Experimentation, Molecular Biology, General Biology, Introduction to Bioengineering, Advanced Biochemistry, and Specialized Foreign Languages.

2. Full-time teachers in microbiology: Undertake research work related to microbiology, with the main focuses of interest being virus immunization, genetic engineering or fermentation engineering; Undertake theoretical and experimental teaching for undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in biology, such as Microbiology, Microbiology Experiment, Metabolic Engineering, Applied Microbiology, and Specialized Foreign Languages.

3. Full-time teachers in pharmacy and pharmaceutical chemistry: Undertake research work related to natural pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy or pharmacy; Undertake theoretical and experimental teaching for undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in biology, including Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Theory and Methods, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Biology, Advanced Organic Chemistry, Advanced Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Specialized Foreign Languages.

4. The above personnel also need to perform other duties as assigned by the Faculty.

II. Job requirements

1. Doctoral degree from well-known universities at home and abroad, and those with postdoctoral or other research work experience is preferred.

2. Holding lofty professional ethics, being rigorous and down-to-earth at work and having a strong teamwork spirit.

3. Having achieved innovative research results in related fields and published research papers in international journals and have a good potential for academic development.

4. Those who can work full-time in KUST and are generally under 35 years of age are preferred. High-level talents will be reviewed separately.

III. Compensation

Newly recruited full-time teachers will be included in the faculty establishment of KUST. The university provides salaries, allowances, social insurance and other welfare benefits and certain housing subsidies as well as certain research funds and post allowances. Those who meet the conditions set out in the Measures for Introducing High-level Talents to Kunming University of Science and Technology will be provided with the compensation for introduced talents.

IV. Application

4) Three recommendation letters

3. Author ranking: Provide the paper inclusion certificate provided by the paper retrieval agency, or the first page of the paper;

4. Paper ranking: Provide screenshots of JCR journal ranking on the online periodical ranking data platform in National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences (http://www.fenqubiao.com/) or LetPub SCI periodical query and contribution analysis system. The pictures should be named after the serial numbers of papers published in resumes (for example, paper 1).
